Messages and limits
3min
A message is defined as any chat input or output under 230 characters. Responses over 230 characters will count as multiple messages. For example, a 460-character response counts as 2 messages.
Both user-submitted messages and agent responses count towards the account message limit.
Responses recieved or sent using GPT-4 will utilize 3x the number of messages due to the fact that GPT-4 tokens are 20x the cost of GPT-3.5 tokens.
The pay as you go plan allows an account to have unlimited messages. This will be an add-on that can be added to the Pro or Growth Plan and will kick in once you reach your message limit. This will charged at $7 per 1000 messages at a weekly pay schedule.
