You can upload files to your agents to provide context or information you would like to instruct your agent to use while talking to users.

V1 agents support all the files that are supported by OpenAI including but not limited to

V2 agents support significantly less files types, currently limited to

.hwp, .pdf, .docx, .pptx, .ppt, .pptm, .csv, .md

On the free plan, only 3 files are supported.

For pro and growth users, the V1 agents support up to 15 files. We are working to increase this. V1 agents have a file size limit of 100 MB.

For v2 agents, up to 30 files are supported with a max file size of 35 MB.
