Introduction

Create and deploy your first agent

4min

In this guide, we'll work you through how to create your very first Agent with Agenthost and how to deploy it to your website all while staying on our free plan so let's get started.

Create your Agent

You should have already created your account. If you haven't, then just head over to the login/signup page.

  1. Select + Add New
  2. Then fill out each of the input boxes. See our section on Agent properties to learn about what each of those properties mean. It should be self-explanatory!
  3. Hit Save to create your agent!

Your Agent Dashboard

After selecting Save, you'll be taken to your agent dashboard. This is where you can view your analytics, update your agent and do so much more. Now we'll test our agent to make sure it's acting how we want it to act.

Test your Agent

To test our agent, we'll select the View Agent option on the top left side bar in the project page. This will take us to the chat page, where we'll be able to chat and get responses from our agent. Ask the agent a few questions and if you want to quickly go back to the dashboard, select the orange Manage Agent button in the chat page.

Deploy your Agent

Once you're happy with your agent, it's time to deploy it. How you do this is up to you, but the two main choices are embedding the agent on your website or hosting the agent chat page on your own domain.

Where to go from here

Congrats on deploying your first agent, but this is only the beginning.

Now you can do things like

Uploading agent files so you can provide data for your agent to use

Fine-tuning to finetune your agent

Custom actions to connect your agent to other services and APIs

Monetizing agents with subscriptions and payments
